Nestled in Killarney, Manitoba, Canada, The Shamrock Drive-in is a charming, single-screen cinema with a storied history. Originally established in the early 1950’s, the drive-in faced adversity in 2015 and 2016 when two separate storms toppled their screen, leading to a temporary closure.Undeterred, the Shamrock Drive-in persevered, overcoming fundraising challenges to unveil a new screen in 2020.  Now, once again, the drive-in is a thriving cinematic destination, accommodating around 150 cars and offering an immersive movie experience with audio broadcast on 88.3FM, as well as refurbished, authentic drive in speakers on poles.Operating seasonally, on long weekends, from Spring through Fall, the Shamrock Drive-in presents an affordable entertainment option with admission at $10 for adults, $5 for kids aged 6-15, and complimentary entry for children aged 5 and under. Full concession with washrooms and canteen specializing in fresh, buttered popcorn, hot and cold drinks and popular snacks is open throughout the evening.
